코렐(Corel)이 OS 가상화 소프트웨어를 개발하는 미국 패럴럴스(Parallels)를 인수했다고 발표했습니다. 가격은 공개하지 않았습니다. 

이번 인수로 패럴럴스의 모든 제품. 그러니까 Parallels Desktop for Mac, Parallels Toolbox for Windows and Mac, Parallels Access, Parallels Mac Management for Microsoft SCCM, Parallels Remote Application Server가 코렐 라인업에 추가됩니다. 

코렐은 왕년에 코렐 드로우나 페인터 같은 게 인상적이긴 했는데 요새는 그만큼의 파워는 없는 것 같아요. 그래도 이런걸 보면 꾸준히 포트폴리오를 늘려 나가는군요.
