Yes yes I know Wonder Girls went for the retro concept in that song, and definitely took a nice amount of inspiration from American girl groups from that era. Plus they also have a song called Be My Baby (but that's a 80s inspired song) which could also be a homage.

But it's still a fun thing to do y'all, given the fact that Be My Baby makes me (a GenZer) wanna dance like a mad woman, but I don't exactly know what to dance (and I don't have anyone to dance with T.T) so I just busted out the "I want nobody nobody but you clap clap" moves and it was so fun. Fit the beat and the music perfectly.

Yall should seriously try that. It's super fun.

(Also why did no one tell me Be My Baby was so short- T.T I know 60s songs up until the 70s were on the shorter side of things, barely hit the 3 minute mark, and bridges weren't a thing yet BUT I WANT THE SONG TO BE LONGER WITHOUT HAVING TO PRESS THE REPLAY BUTTON OK? Like, how did the ✨️youth of the times✨️ even manage to dance to it when the song was barely 2 minutes lmaooo)
